Celebrate Earth Day with The Big Easy Rollergirls

April 22nd is Earth Day! Come celebrate and have a good time at the New Orleans Earth Day Festival, presented by The Louisiana Bucket Brigade and sponsored by The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living, The Gulf Restoration Network, the Gambit, and The Big Easy Rollergirls.

For only $10, from 9pm to 2am at the Maison on 508 Frenchmen Street, you can sample live music from N'awlins Johnnys, One Mind Brass Band, and Big Sam's Funky Nation. WTUL DJs will be spinning World, Funk, Soul, and Latin Music upstairs all evening.

The entry fee will benefit "Bucket" air sampling and the Environmental Justice Corps Fellowship.

The Big Easy Rollergirl All Stars vs. Hard Knox Rollergirls

The Big Easy Rollergirl All Stars take on the Hard Knox Roller Girls of Knoxville, TN, Saturday, April 17th at the Human Performance Center on the University of New Orleans Campus, located at the corner of Elysian Fields and Leon C. Simon Drive.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, action starts at 7.

$12 ADVANCE TICKETS, kids 12 and under are $6. Tickets at the door are $15.

We will be accepting donations on behalf of Mid-City Neighborhood Organization (MCNO).

Mingle with the rollergirls after the bout at Capdeville, located at 520 Capdeville, in New Orleans’ Central Business District.
